I am the child of an artist and ceramics teacher.  Creating was a way of life in our house.  I don't think there was ever a time I wasn't drawing, painting, sculpting or making some sort of  artistic mess.  Our home was an art studio, and the visual language of  color, texture, and line was my first language.  ​I went on to do many things in life, but I always found my way back to a drawing board and a paint pan. This is my first opportunity to devote myself full time to drawing and painting and to digital media. ​I live in Santa Fe, with my husband, but travel often to see family in Michigan and California.  Those influences all come out in my work as do a love of the natural world, other cultures, people and places. ​ I'm so excited to share my work with you as I continue this visual journey.
